Recently, there has been issues causing unrest towards the government. Suppression of freedom of association, scandals of construction of Shatin to Central Link, poor follow-up actions in respond to Typhoon Mangkhut, all of these issues caused dissatisfaction towards the government. Nevertheless, the government does not seem to account to the public. Therefore, the Hong Kong University Students’ Union encourage all Hong Kong citizens, including HKU students, to participate in the October 1 March held by Civil Human Rights Front tomorrow to voice out our dissatisfaction and opinions to the government regardless of our political stances.
